A real truffle hunt is a unique experience. These underground tubers exert a magical attraction on gourmets and foodies. Treat yourself to a truffle weekend at Mas des Mûriers (2 or 3 nights) with all the trimmings. Almost two-thirds of the ‘Tuber Melanosporum’ truffles dug up between November and March come from the Drôme Provençale. Immerse yourself in a world of culinary delights. 

TRUFFLE WEEKENDS

Have you ever witnessed a truffle hunt in the forest? If not, you should change that as soon as possible. It is a real experience to see the truffle hunter and his four-legged companion in action. You can feel the bond between the two and their concentration at every moment of the search. Your pulse will race as soon as the dog picks up the scent, speeds up and starts digging. It can take a good half hour for a truffle to come to light, depending on how deep it is. The truffle hunter constantly encourages his dog and controls its digging – after all, the tuber must not be damaged. For this reason, the truffle hunter usually takes over the last part himself and ends up holding the fragrant tuber in his hands, while his partner gets a treat.
 
During our truffle weekends, you will deepen your knowledge of the ‘Tuber Melanosporum’ that grows here. You will experience authentic truffle hunting, taste a truffle menu, haggle at the truffle market and learn tricks and tips in a truffle cooking class with chef Pius

Conviviality, good cheer, culinary delights: from mid-December to mid-March, we look forward to welcoming you to our farmhouse for a truffle weekend from Friday afternoon to Sunday or Monday morning.
